About me
Kayla Meisner is the executive director of Kentucky Commercialization Ventures (KCV), an initiative of Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation (KSTC). In her role, she leads efforts to grow the statewide innovation ecosystem through technology transfer from our regional and rural universities and community & technical college institutions. Meisner provides oversight of all KCV programs that aim to translate Kentucky ideas into impactful intellectual property, establish inclusive innovation practices, fund and support opportunities for early-stage research and development, and expand the Kentucky entrepreneurial ecosystem. She is highly motivated by this opportunity to build a sustainable commercialization-drive network for the success of Kentucky and our greater region.
Meisner obtained a Bachelor in Science (Bioengineering) and Master in Engineering from the University of Louisville.
