Alison Evans brings a wealth of experience to her role as an Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development Specialist at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), where she manages the Regional Innovation Cluster Initiative. Her journey in public service began as a Presidential Management Fellow with the SBA, gaining valuable experience across the Office of Investment and Innovation, Office of Women's Business Ownership, and Office of Credit Risk Management. Alison's expertise was further honed during a detail with the Department of Treasury's Office of Recovery Programs (now Office of Capital Access), where she contributed to the Interagency Community Investment Committee. Prior to her public service, Alison applied her policy acumen at Lewis-Burke Associates LLC, a government relations firm focused on higher education and science policy. With a career dedicated to policy, Alison is passionate about fostering community and economic development to enable wealth creation and enhance quality of life. Her multidisciplinary background, combining a Master's in City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Arizona State University, provides her with a unique perspective on entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems.
